About Me

david C. Mitchell

I was raised to value service to others. This was a value I witnessed come to life, first by my parents and then by the many individuals in my life who witnessed to their faith and values by always putting themselves into the service of others. Those examples touched me deeply and inspired me to always make myself an instrument of service to others, wherever I find them and however I am able.

Income-Based Affordable Housing

Income-Based Affordable Housing in District 23 is needed and needed now. This impacts every facet of our lives. It impacts our economy as companies go where their employees can afford to live. It impacts our historic communities as they get swept away under gentrification. It impacts our young college graduates as they can’t find affordable homes when they return from college to begin their lives. I will work to ensure we find solutions to address this need including zoning, funding, and public-private partnerships.
